This weekend I went to Gulu to meet with Peace Together Uganda's student chapter. They've formed a sort of club to help promote peace/reconciliation, promote economic development and provide community emotional and medical support. So far they've visited orphanages and prisons, speaking to the people about healthy living and to provide emotional support.
I'll be meeting with the group on a monthly basis to help them develop business plans, write grant proposals, identify funding sources and do whatever else I can to help. The group stands at over 70 members currently, with new members joining everyday. It will be fun to work with such a large group of inspired young people.
