The purpose of this blog is to stay connected with my friends and family while I transition from Delaware to Maryland to Uganda and beyond. I'd like to use this forum to share my experiences and record my adventures while serving as an Economic Development Volunteer in the Peace Corps.

My Org

The organization that I'm working with, Peace Together Uganda, is an awesome community based organization working in Pajule and Lapul sub-counties in Northern Uganda! We're working on sustainable income-generating projects to fund educational scholarships to OVC (orphans and vulnerable children) in the community.  We're currently paying the school fees for 20 youth and hope to expand in time for the next school year.
