- Food
- Velveeta cheese
- The cheese sauce/packets from macaroni and cheese
- Parmesan cheese, or any cheese that won't go bad without refrigeration (like laughing cow)
- Pepperoni that doesn't need refrigeration; bacon pieces that are vacuum packed
- Couscous or quinoa
- Instant oatmeal
- Instant grits
- Powdered drink mixes
- Granola or fruit bars
- Chocolate or candy (reeces pieces, mnm's, twizzlers, nerds, chocolate anything)
- Packets of ketchup, mayo, mustard, ranch, balsamic, relish, any salad dressing
- Brownie, cake, muffin, cookie mix (I have the use of an outdoor wood oven)
- Anything to make my house more homey (pictures, something for the wall, etc.)
- Anything fun: magazines you're done reading, books you liked, new music, tv shows (you could download them onto a small flash drive)
- Tampons
- Face wash
- Clorox wipes
- Old Navy tank tops (size medium or large)
- Seeds (fruit, veggie, flower... Uganda is very fertile and hot. The dry season sure is dry, but the rainy season makes for good harvesting. Anything I don't plant while I'm here will be donated to the 99% of my community who are subsistence farmers)
- Anything that young kids would enjoy (stickers, small toys, balloons, books, etc.)
